Just had the most awesome call with these people. I wish I could post a transcript. It was hilarious.

Guy called called claiming to be Nathan Rice with Law Firm of Business affairs. stating a lawsuite was being brought on me for 3 criminalcharges for collateral bad check , trying to commit fraud and some other trumped up charge for non payment on a payday loan. Told me I had 30 minutes to go to walmart and get a prepaid card for 395.32 and send a fax with a picture ID and fax should state that there was never any intention on my part to default on loan and that 395.32 was being paid on this date to satisfy our agreement. When I started to ask him questions about said loan he said I needed to do this or Law officials were going to serve me with papers at my place of employment tomorrow and possibly arrest me. Now mind you the this is the first time I,ve heard of this matter via phone and this guys already talking about arrest and only 30 minutes to pay up with a prepaid credit card from walmart , lol . When i decided to see what he would do if i called back !st he didnt answer the phone with the supposed law office name instead he said " can I help you ? " then when i decided to let him know that if this was a scam I was going to contact officials he became an ass. Then iI said " ok whats your fax number this guy hung up. I continued to call back and kept getting voice mailbox is full. Attempted to call back finally got him on line and he was talking clear then when I told him who he was the line went silent and then he hung up. Continued to try and call this guy back for about an hour to let him know how i felt but wow he wasnt answering the phone and I kept getting mailbox full .

Do NOT send these people a dime! They are known fraudsters. Don't talk to them or interact with them-- just call your bank to alert them, and the local FBI office-- especially if they made terroristic threats against you or your loved ones. Here's what my experience was: Got a call telling me that I am being sued, that I was going to be arrested, etc. Attorney "Robin Ross" was the supposed person I needed to speak with, but she was "at the courthouse". Darn it! I knew it was a scam before I even Googled the number, and told them they were full of it. People don't generally find out they're being sued via a mysterious phone call. Duh. The guy said, "Have you ever been sued before?! Then how do you know the procedure for these things?!" to which I replied that I've been to college and am well-educated about the general procedure and protocol for stuff like this in the US. (Which they clearly DO NOT, but that's beside the point.) I got the third degree for laughing while on the phone (sorry, I couldn't help it...) and was told to expect the police at my door this Friday. After the person I was instructed to call angrily hung up on me, I called the local FBI office as well as my bank. These losers made the afternoon interesting, that's for sure! (PS: If you are a woman and get a call from them, make a point of sounding as though you know they have an unusually small, um, you know. They won't respect you anyway, so may as well go in with a light heart  and a sense of humor :)

Said he was John and I have criminal charges against me. He gave me another number to call an attorney of theirs which was at 4833 and I asked so I call back and talk to someone sitting next to you that you call an attorney. The guy said yes. I got his name and where he was supposedly from. I have been getting calls from these people for the past couple months. They called me last year for a while then I got aggravated and told them to give me their address and information so I could send a money order to them and never heard from them again. They need to be punished for this crime

I received a call this morning from 951-582-4833 and was told to call back at 951-582-4832 and ask for Paul Smith from the Federal Legilation of Customer Affairs and Business Regulations that there has been criminal charges filed against me for non payment of a payday loan that was deposited in my account. I have not had any deposits nor payday loans from whomever they are talking about. I called back and Nathan Rice said he is the assistant to Robyn Ross Attorney At Law out of California and I needed to pay this loan back because there are criminal charges against, When I informed him that I will be calling my Attorney in regards to this, he hung up. I will be reporting them to the Police.

Recorded telemarketing call saying you and your family have won!! Do not have the opportunity to talk to anyone and ask that they stop calling. They are calling my cell phone. VERY annoying!!

Repeat calls and hangups. Never answers.

Caller reports that he is a dea agent and that someone has violated some online drug act. Caller trying to scam money.

The caller leaves no information regarding what the call is about. Is this illegal to pretend to be one number but be another??

Received several calls from this number and Answered one time and they hung up. Tried to call back and no answer. Really annoying!

This number called me yesterday and i ignored the first time and they called back 2 seconds later. I called back today and they number is out of service.

I sent a cashiers check with the amount I borrowed plus the amount of interest which was outrageous enough... This was three months ago i borrowed, paid back two months ago... I got a call today saying they never recieved my check and they need 90 to resolve it otherwise its going to collections for 450! I paid the 90 and asked so this is all its all over now? they said yes. will keep you updated about what happens next!
